Our plans for the regeneration of St Catherine’s Place will create over 350 homes. The majority of these will have dual-aspect and open views, to Windmill Hill to the south and central Bristol and beyond to the north.

The redevelopment is likely to take place in a number of phases, with the first one, Catherine’s House, already underway.

Catherine’s House

The new conversion of the former office block Catherine’s House is the first part of the scheme. The conversion will produce an eight-storey residential block, featuring 54 one and two-bedroom apartments. These homes are currently under construction and due for completion towards the end of 2018 / early 2019.

The future

Next to Catherine’s House is a proposed 21-storey tower, stepping down to 12 storeys to the rear. The tower will be framed by shops at ground level and by wide, plant-lined pavements. The double-height lobby will lead to one, two and three-bedroom apartments whilst the roof will welcome residents to a communal room with excellent views looking south towards Dundry, north to Clifton and west to Ashton Court.

Along Dalby Avenue towards the junction with East Street, we are hoping to build about 30 homes, in two separate buildings, as well as creating a far more attractive street frontage for pedestrians, car and bus users.
